There are few things I like about the colder months but one thing I really enjoy is eating home made soup. There's just something really comforting about curling up with a steaming hot bowl of soup and a freshly baked crusty roll on a chilly day.

#LIGHTSCAMERACURRYS
On Saturday I was invited to attend a photography workshop hosted by Currys at Manchester Photographic. Being the first bloggers event I have attended I was incredibly nervous, feelings which weren't particularly helped by my train being cancelled on the morning of the event! I did however manage to get there on time (boyfriend to the rescue once again!) and was made to feel at ease straight away.
SEPTEMBER DEGUSTABOX
For the last few months receiving my Degustabox has been something I really look forward. My last two boxes have been quite good but I think Septembers box has been my favourite yet.

August Degustabox
After my first Degustabox in July I was genuinely looking forward to receiving my August box. It arrived just as I was heading off for a long weekend away in Edinburgh so I took it along with me to unbox and take photos. Unfortunately, and quite irritatingly, my memory card somehow got corrupted somewhere along the way and I lost all of my lovely photos of Edinburgh and also my Degustabox pics. Needless to say some of the items where consumed immediately after photos were taken (I'm looking at you Lindt chocolates!) but it was a cracking box so I wanted to share it here anyway. There are a few items missing in the photo but here's a run down of what I received this month.

BORN IN PARADISE
Can we just take a moment to appreciate the beauty of this packaging? It looks like summer has well and truly disappeared here in the UK but this perfume by Escada won't fail to whisk your mind away to a tropical island.
