August Degustabox

After my first Degustabox in July I was genuinely looking forward to receiving my August box.  It arrived just as I was heading off for a long weekend away in Edinburgh so I took it along with me to unbox and take photos.  Unfortunately, and quite irritatingly, my memory card somehow got corrupted somewhere along the way and I lost all of my lovely photos of Edinburgh and also my Degustabox pics.  Needless to say some of the items where consumed immediately after photos were taken (I'm looking at you Lindt chocolates!) but it was a cracking box so I wanted to share it here anyway.  There are a few items missing in the photo but here's a run down of what I received this month.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate the beauty of this packaging?  It looks like summer has well and truly disappeared here in the UK but this perfume by Escada won't fail to whisk your mind away to a tropical island.

L'OREAL NUDE MAGIQUE EAU DE TEINT

I've always used the same kind of foundation, a light to medium coverage liquid. Normally when I go on holiday to a warm country I try to minimise the amount of make up on my face.  I feel like I'm past the age where I can get away with nothing to even out my skin, even though I am still just about on the right side of thirty, so before going on holiday to Spain a few weeks ago I decided to explore my options for a lightweight base.

SUMMER HOLIDAY HAUL

Two weeks ago I was sunning myself by the pool whilst on holiday in sunny Spain.  The week before I indulged in a little last minute holiday shopping to pick up a few things to take with me.  I've not been proper shopping like this for a long time so it was nice to browse around all of the shops even if it was a little bit rushed.  I don't recall ever doing a haul post so I thought I would share some of the things that I bought.

ESPANA

A couple of weeks ago I was spending my days relaxing by the pool soaking up some much needed sunshine at a beautiful villa in Spain.  I was invited to join Si's family for a weeks holiday to Alcossebre, a small coastal town on the Costa del Azahar.  As you can see, the villa was located quite high up so the views were spectacular.
