Pink Wednesday #2 - SCD Glitterball

At last I've had chance to do another pink Wednesday post!  I picked this up as part of a Strictly Come Dancing set containing 12 polishes from last years Christmas range at Boots.  I've got to say I'm not a fan of the show but the polishes looked too amazing to pass up!
This is a lovely pink foil polish with a hint of silver.  It applied so easily and dried SUPER FAST!  I just love this polish, what a shame it's only a 3ml bottle  :(

My Daily Skin Care Routine

I shared with you a few days ago the products I use to keep my hands and nails healthy (here).  Today I'm going to share with you my daily routine for my face.

At the moment I use the following products:

Taaj Himalaya Micellar Water

I love my Taaj Himalaya Micellar Water so much!  I struggle to find cleansers gentle enough for my stupidly sensitive skin so I tend to just remove any make up with gentle face wipes and then wash with water.  This product is great for removing make up and daily dirt build up.  It leaves my skin feeling soft, refreshed and moisturised before I've even put my face cream on.  The gentle scent is fresh and not over powering.  I never want to use another make up remover ever again but I've so far been unable to find where I can buy this (I received this bottle in one of my beauty boxes).  Any ideas??

I bought these two eye creams as I was suffering from tired puffy eyes.  I use the roll-on in the morning as its cool roller ball feels amazing and leaves my eyes feeling more awake.  The eye balm I like to use in the evening as it's more soothing.  Both products work really well and I definitely feel more refreshed when I use them.

The second Caudalie product I have tried and I love it!  I use this before my moisturiser.  It has a very thin texture and it spreads easily over the skin meaning you don't need to use a lot.  It contains hyaluronic acid which helps the skin lock in moisture and also helps give elasticity a boost.  It leaves my skin feeling incredibly healthy and fresh.  I love it and will almost certainly buy more of this.

I received this in one of my beauty boxes and hadn't heard of the brand before.  It contains marine collagen and essential oils to help smooth out any fine lines.  The texture is fairly thick and creamy, just what my dry skin likes.  It absorbs superbly into my skin and smells amazing, even my boyfriend commented on how nice my face smelled after I used this for the first time!  :)  I will definitely be buying more of this when it runs out.

So that's my daily routine.  What products do you use on your face?  Have you tried any of these?

Figs & Rouge Natural Balms

Today I'm going to write about these little wonder balms by Figs & Rouge.  I first came across this fabulous product last year when I received a Sweet Geranium Balm in one of the beauty boxes I was subscribed to back in the UK.

My Hand Care Routine

Today I'd like to share with you my routine for keeping my hands and nails in shape.  It's quite a simple regime and when I'm not being lazy and manage to keep it up everyday I get great results.

There are 3 main products that I like to use:

Beach Glam Nails

It's been a long time since I was able to post and I've been missing it quite a bit.  On the other hand I've had the most fabulous time travelling around Australia for the last few months!  We've experienced so much already and we still have another 9 months left here.  There is so much to share with you but I will save that for future posting.

When I was packing to come here I was very conscious of the baggage allowance for our cases.  How do you squeeze 12 months into 20 kilos?  It was so hard deciding what to bring and trying to predict what I might need most over the next year.  Needless to say clothing and shoes were the first priorities followed by my everyday skincare products and cosmetics.  Left until last a handful of polishes to satisfy my finger tips until I could afford to buy some new Aussie brands.
