BLOGMAS: FESTIVE MENU AT MILLER AND CARTER

One of the things I love about Christmas is the delicious food, especially all of the tempting festive menus on offer at my favourite restaurants.  At the weekend Si and I headed to our local Miller & Carter Steakhouse with his parents to try their festive menu.  We booked ahead way back in October to make sure that we didn't miss out, although I do wish we could have gone closer to Christmas.  The Parbold restaurant is one of our favourite places to eat so we knew the food was going to be super tasty and be of a high standard and I have to say we weren't disappointed in the slightest.

A TASTE OF THE EASTZEAST CHRISTMAS MENU

When the email dropped into my inbox inviting me to attend a taster session for the EastZEast Christmas menu I didn't hesitate to say yes.  Indian food is one of my favourite cuisines so I was extremely excited to try the festive menu and took Si along with me to sample the food.

Jabula South African Restaurant

When it comes to food I love to try different and unusual things.  Whilst looking for somewhere to go for lunch to celebrate my birthday I heard about an African restaurant that served up all kinds of unusual meats.  Perfect!  Si and I visited Jabula on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and were seated straight away.  It's not a huge place but it has a really nice vibe to it.  The tables were dressed with animal print table cloths and there were plenty of African style decorations around the place.
