AUTUMN LIPS

So autumn is here and it's time to dust of those rich deep colours.  There's something pretty magical about rich berry lips teamed with dusky pink cheeks in the cooler months.  To be quite honest I don't have a lot of darker lipsticks.  I have plenty of practical nudes, summery pinks and dramatic reds, but when it comes to darker hues my collection is sorely lacking.

Fearne Kiss And Tell Lip Crayons

More lip crayons in today's post.  I'm truly addicted to these things and wear them more often than traditional style lipsticks.  Yet another set I bought around christmas time in Boots, these Fearne Kiss & Tell Lip Crayons came in 4 colours and also included a pencil sharpener.

Laqa & Co Lip Pencil

I don't think beauty boxes offer enough make up samples so I'm always very excited to see them included.  When I opened my August Birchbox I was extremely pleased to see this Laqa & Co Lil Lip Pencil.  The brand is new to me but I couldn't wait to try it and honestly this hasn't been off my lips since I first wore it on Saturday.

Layered Lips

Being a lipstick newbie I tend not to be very adventurous with the colours I wear.  There's nothing wrong with that at all but when I recently reviewed my New CID i-gloss in Coconut Ice I had a light bulb moment.  It would look gorgeous over a red lipstick I thought.  Whilst taking photos for my recent Studio Make Up Lipstick post I had a quick go at layering the two.
