GLAZED APPLE HAND CREAM

I think we'd all agree that hand cream is a handbag essential, especially at this time of year.  I have quite dry skin on my hands all year round but during the cold winter months it's much worse.

TOASTED MARSHMALLOW FUDGE

 

As soon as I pulled my tub of Solo Toasted Marshmallow Creme out of my October Degustabox I knew good things were going to happen!  I love this type of product but I'm always at a loss at how to use it, other than dipping into it with a giant spoon of course!  To my delight on the back of the tub was a recipe for toasted marshmallow fudge.  I'm not going to lie I absolutely love fudge and could probably eat my own body weight of the delightful sweet treat, but I've never ever thought of making it as I thought it would be really difficult to do.

A LINER THAT'S WORTH THE HYPE?

I was pretty pleased to see a free sample of Benefit's They're Real Push Up Liner attached to the cover of this months Elle magazine.  I've wanted to try it since reading through all of the hyped up blog posts around the time of its release. You may have noticed that I love the winged liner look so I can't say I wasn't tempted to splurge on this but after reading about Maybelline's version which retails at a fraction of the price I opted to try that one first and, if you read my earlier post about it you'll probably know that I fell absolutely in love with it!

When it comes to food I'm a sucker for trying new things so it was no surprise that I was excited to try this Rogan Josh Meal Kit by Kents Kitchen, which I received in my October Degustabox.

FROSTED CRANBERRY SPARKLER

We're approaching the festive season which means it's time to start planning make up party looks.  In my youth this would have meant bucket loads of glitter but over the last 5 years or so my favour towards sparkly make up has dwindled massively.  I do feel like I'm getting a bit too old to plaster myself with glitter which is so sad as I'm a bit of a magpie and love glittery things.

CHRISTMAS AT THE BODY SHOP

Earlier this week I made my way to The Body Shop at the Trafford Centre for the launch of their Christmas collection.  It's not often I go shopping there, although I do have a few favourites that are regulars in my skincare routine, so it was really nice to explore their regular lines as well as checking out all of the new Christmas goodies.

I'm not a huge fan of French manicures.  The old pink and white look just doesn't appeal to me for some reason.  On the rare occasion that I do decide to wear this classic look I always give it a little bit of a twist.
